Statement:
Welcome to
Shot At Home Videos. My goals are simple, to bring
you new REAL homemade videos on a monthly basis that would not normally make
it to the Internet market and to have hundreds of videos on the site for you
to choose from. I have been running Shot At Home since 2001. Many people insisted
we would fail, that there was not enough people to support such a specialized
niche, yet here we still are...lol. I have been in the homemade video market
online for years. I actually started the VERY first site that brought multiple
couple's REAL homemade videos to the net back in 1996! So I kind of know what
I am doing here...lol. I am a fan first. I do this because I like the genre,
nay, I prefer the genre. So my commitment is real.
The
reason the "Amateur" and "Homemade"
video market is 99% full of young college girls who do mostly solo videos is
simple. They have nothing to lose except college debt. What about the hot woman
down the street who car pools, is a REAL soccer
mom, and is on the PTA? What about the women lawyers, doctors, or professionals
that are exhibitionists...but can't release videos directly due to their position
in their community? What about the couple who does outlandish sexual feats,
but belongs to a church group? Or the policemen and women, or teachers, or town
officials, or executives, or even parents...I could go on and on. To sell their
homemade videos themselves, is tough. Plus, they dont want to go to a studio
and have sex with guys they dont know. They want to have sex with their husbands
or boyfriends... somewhere where there are not 20 other people watching. That's
where I come in, and that is where my decade of experience in getting REAL homemade
videos comes into play. Anyone can stage a video shoot and claim "Amateur"...
but it insults your intellegence, and that is not what I do here. I offer REAL
shit, plain and simple. You know a staged video shoot when you see it.
Make
no mistake about this, all of my homemade videos are made by people in their
homes or a hotel room with their own camcorders. I do not normally buy "Gonzo"
films or multiple Gonzo films professionally produced by the same person and
offer them as "Homemade". I do carry an Amateur line for those that
like those types of videos (BJ & HJ), but it is a very small percentage
of my catalog. My Homemade videos are normal everyday people...with camcorders!
I even try to get foreign married couples on the site! I do not have "Models"
or a group of professionals I go to for my videos. I get my videos by scouring
the Usenet and convincing regular people who post there to sell their homemade
tapes, or through visitors to the site submitting their own home videos. The
lighting may not always be perfect, the angles may not always be perfect, and
the sound may not always be perfect. I DO NOT promise ANY of these things. What
I do promise is real life homemade camcorder videos from people you would not
normally see doing videos. Something everyone claims the Internet lacks...Obviously
they have not found my site! This is my mission, to have one of, if not THE,
largest selection of REAL homemade videos on the net.

The Site/Our
History (this is long...lol):
I started
this site for some very simple reasons. Let me first say, however, that this
site was never supposed to be what it is today (a commercial type site). I will
try to explain as I go here. This site was started because I got tired of being
fucked over and lied to. I was sick of going from site to site that had promises
of real homemade and amateur videos "all found in one place" and getting
complete faked crap. I hated more than anything reading a 5 sentence description
that made it sound like I was going to get a "couple" that could be
next door, then getting the video in and having them not speak English. I mean
nothing against those kinds of movies... but if you are going to sell videos
of people who don't speak a lick of English, I FEEL it should say something
about that in the description. OR, going to a site that claimed they sold only
videos of real couples, then seeing the same fugly girl as a part of 6 different
"real" couples...lol Look, if it is a real couple doing a real Amateur/Homemade,
they shot it at home with their own camera... not in a studio with lighting
and a cameraman... how insulting. Anyway, after the 100th time of shelling out
$35+ for a video and not getting what I thought I paid for, I decide it was
time for me to jump back in the game. Yes I had THE VERY FIRST site of all homemade
videos from different people sites on the net, back in 1996 & 1997. I left
it to go on to what were bigger and better things... in fact it is due to them
that I was able to do this site correctly and only need to break even... even
still today. The idea was so ahead of it's time that now there are a number
of sites that do what I used to do when this whole thing started. I, however,
could not make that business model work...lol, and since some sites have made
it work, hats off to them! Good show! This site is a different business model...lol
I
began by offering videos at $10 to $30 less expensive than any other site of
this kind! (when I started... the average price for REAL homemade footage was
$35 per 30 to 40 minute video, now look at it!) When I started, people did not
take the time to give decent descriptions of their videos. You were lucky to
get 3 lines! Now, even though I still go deeper than anyone else, more sites
like mine are offering up more in depth descriptions. I started out to change
things and blaze trails... to have people copy me, and it has happened!!! What
I don't like are people who use my words here, on their own site, to lie to
you and deceive you and sell you stagged shit claiming it is real... but that
is for another time!...lol
As
I was saying, after being fucked for the 100th time by buying some faked amateur
video from a site who claimed they would be my "friends and neighbors"...I
built Shot At Home. This site was simply supposed to be a niche site and not
a commercial site. A place where I, and a few guys who were lucky enough to
find me, could get some homemade videos without all the crap that goes on out
there. I had hopes that it would just break even on the money I spent to get
the videos and supplies, that was it... and I would have been very happy if
things had gone like that as well.
As
mentioned, I started this site because I was tired of being lied to and screwed
by so called "Amateur" video sites. They were neither Amateur nor Homemade...
or none of the people in the videos spoke English. Don't get me wrong, as I
said, I don't mind a foreign couple here or there... but to insult me by selling
me 99% Eastern European women under the guise they are my friends and neighbors
...UHG! How smug! Or stage 10 videos with the same chick in it with different
people... and try to convince me you use real couples. Well, this thing took
on a life of it's own. Because I only need the site to break even (yes even
to this day), I was able to invest every penny taken in on new content, equipment,
and software. Well, with the amount of content I have gathered over the past
few years (a lot of which has not even hit the site yet...but I'm trying!...lol)...
this place was beginning to look like Grandma's attic. It was full of great
shit... but it was a fucking mess. If you looked around and under some things....
you could find some stuff that was priceless to you! I felt this needed to change.
I just outgrew the old site. Hopefully this one will help make it easier for
you to find your little treasures!
This
site has been a labor of love, even since day one. I was told I would never
survive when I started. I was told there wasn't a big enough market for my videos.
I was told that NOBODY would buy an entire video with the same couple in it...
let alone a series. I was told there were too many porn sites out here already.
Yes, there were too many porn sites out here already... but not enough that
do things right (I felt). So I went forward anyway. As sites have come and gone...
I have survived. Some that said I would not make it, have already folded their
tents and moved on. I am still here, and will be for a good long time.
I
was one of the very first... if not THE first site with homemade videos to offer
REAL DVDs. Then when others were offering "Set Top" burned DVDs, I
was authoring and duplicating in REAL DVD format on site. When other people
began using Russian and Eastern European models ONLY and passing them off as
American and American couples (lying by omitting) I stayed true to what I do
here. And while other sites followed, copied this site word for word, criticized
me, and stole from me... I chose to lead by staying true to what I say. I was
THE FIRST site of my kind to offer Night Vision & Masked videos (it is true).
Everyone thought I was crazy and said they would never sell... but now they
are popping up everywhere and all the people who said it would not work have
scrambled to make cheap knock offs...lol There are a lot of GREAT sites and
video sites out there... it is a shame that there are also so many more that
are not. Hopefully, eventually we can introduce you to some of the better/honest
ones.
This
is not a corporate site with a parent company and is NOT a subsidiary of any
other company (or 5). I do not claim I am a small site, yet claim I am also
my larger parent site too....lol That is why I can guarantee things others can
only claim (like that ONLY I will see your information). When I say this, I
literally mean ONLY MY EYES will ever see the info. I get all emails, take all
orders, and fill all orders. Nobody else has access to your info. I laugh when
I see some "low on the totem pole" site's webmaster who reports to
a much bigger company state they don't release your info... yeah they may not
give it to any other company, except to corporate who happens to own 500 other
sites, then spams the shit out of you and sells your info to marketing companies
who then cause you to even get junk mail to your house and called during dinner.
I have nobody to answer to, no "owning corporation that spans the globe".
I am one of you. Someone tired of getting spam, tired of being lied to, and
tired of being misled and/or fucked when I want a good REAL homemade video.
What you see is what you get. "I" am Shot At Home. If I were to die
tomorrow, the site would die with me. When you send an email to Shot At Home,
it is answered by me... nobody else, just me. I don't shuffle you off to some
other guy or department, if you have an issue, request or even a problem. The
buck stops here people. This is why I have so many personal relationships with
my customers. Because of that, nobody tells me what to do or controls what I
can offer for content (except the government...lol). I have no big brother corporate
head quarters who takes what they want and then decides for me and tells me
what I will offer for videos.
I
am just a regular Joe who happens to like porn and thinks that people should
be able to get decent homemade movies (not just cuz it is a fad, I was doing
this before it was) without being lied to, misled, or fucked over. Without being
put on 500 email lists and getting telemarketed during dinner. It shouldn't
be so hard. My real goal here is to build a community that offers great homemade
and amateur videos in a range of formats... so that, if you so desire, you never
have to waste time scouring the Internet elsewhere to find it. I hope as we
go you will see this, give me your feedback, and enjoy what I have built and
am trying to build. I know this runs long, and doubt anyone really reads this...lol
